Student Council

To promote leadership skills and interpersonal skills between the peer groups Student Council plays a very important role. Student Council in our institution involves students in meaningful and purpose-oriented activities, by encouraging desirable attitudes and continuous upward development in vivid pursuits which they are interested in. It also provides a forum for student-centric activities and the overall development of the students.

Student Scholarship

Fee Concession, freeships, scholarships and loan scholarships are granted strictly in accordance with rules prescribed by the Director of College Education or the Director of Social Welfare or the D.P.I. as the case may be.

Grievance Redressal Cell

Students’ Grievances Redressal Cell makes all necessary arrangements for receiving representations/complaints/ grievances from students relating to general administration, examination and evaluation and any other problems faced in the college. The Grievance Redressal Cell offenly conducts the meeting and complaints received if any, will be redressed.

Anti-Ragging Cell

As per the orders of the Honourable Supreme Court of India, if any case of ragging comes to the notice of the authorities, the concerned student shall be given an opportunity of being heard, and if found guilty, would be expelled from the Institution. No cases of ragging have been reported in the institution in the past years However, as a preventive measure a Ragging Prevention Cell with the following members has been constituted

The college has SC/ST and OBC cell. Its purpose is to empower SC/ST and OBC
students in college. The cell takes special interest in facilitating financial support to
students from these communities from government agencies and other sources.

The College has established a Women Empowerment Cell, to empower girl students, to enhance understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for women students with a view to taking up women’s issues and problems as per the guidelines of UGC, Affiliating University and Dept of Collegiate Education.

Anti-sexual Harassment Cell

Anti Sexual Harassment Cell assures all the complaints of the students, teaching and non-teaching staffs are treated with dignity and respect and the complaints should be maintained confidential.


Mentoring and Counselling Center

The mentoring program is aimed to provide guidance to the students in their studies. A group of 25 to 35 students is allotted to each faculty at the beginning of the academic year. The mentors discuss various issues faced by the students. The mentors meet the students regularly to discuss their progression in studies. Parents- teacher’s meeting is also arranged to discuss student-centric matters.
