WELCOME TO SRI POORNAPRAJNA EVENING COLLEGE
Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, established in November 1966, owes its inception to the revered His Holiness Sri Sri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji of Sri Admar Mutt, Udupi.
This institution of higher learning is overseen and operated by the Udupi Sri Admar Mut Education Council, Bangalore.
Under the wise guidance and divine blessings of the current President of the Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council, His Holiness Sri Sri Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji, along with the steadfast support of the College Management Committee, Sri Poornaprajna Evening College is evolving into a thriving centre of higher education.
Just like other educational institutions under the stewardship of the Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council, Sri Poornaprajna Evening College is deeply influenced by the teachings of “Sri Madhwacharya”;, whose Dwaitha Philosophy has significantly enriched our nation’s spiritual heritage. In fact, “Poornaprajna” is another name for Sri Madhwacharya, signifying one who has attained perfect knowledge.
Sri Poornaprajna Evening College, Udupi is the Second evening college in the state of
Karnataka and the only aided evening college in the region of Udupi. This college has been established to address the long-standing need for college education among employees in and around the Udupi region.
At present, the college is serving the majority of students who are pursuing their professional courses such as CA/CS/CMA/ACCA and those who are working in organised and unorganised sectors.
OUR FOUNDER
Sri Sri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji of Sri
Admar Mutt Udupi is the founder of our college. Welfare of the society was the mission of his life. Towards this end, he had opted for the field of the education, in its entirety, to spread awareness in society.
The
establishment of Sri Poornaprajna Evening college is a visible fruit of his foresightedness and ardency to brighten up the then prevailing education scenario by bringing into the net those aspiring students who could not pursue their college education all ending day colleges.
The vision and mission mirrors the objects and ideals of the college which are encapsulated in its motto "Amruthantu Vidya".
OUR LEADER
On July 19, 2014, Eeshapriya Teertha Swamiji was anointed after he accepted the Sanyasa Deekshe here.
He is the 33rd seer in the lineage or 'guru parampara' of Admar Math. A BE degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Eeshapriya Teertha Swamiji is the first highly academically qualified seer at the Ashta Maths.

Education Council in the year 1962 with the view of serving the nation by providing the right kind of education to the nation's youth. Udupi Shri Admar Mutt Education Council was started with the specific aim of imparting right kind of education to the future generation and infusing a spirit of patriotism in children of the nation. All the institutions are successfully heading to achieve the vision laid by the founder under the able guidance and blessings of H.H.Sri Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji.

H.H. rightly follows the ideals of the founder of the college and gives ideal guidance and blessing for the fulfillment of the objective of the college.
