About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college was established in 2006, just prior to the First Cycle of NAAC assessment. Under the able stewardship of IQAC, the college successfully completed the second and third cycles in 2013 and 2018 respectively. The IQAC is the think tank of the college. Through its dynamic composition, it ensures quality in every activity conducted in the college. The IQAC has become an integral part of the institutional functioning such as academics, extra-curricular and co-curricular, governance, administration and finance and is working towards the realisation of the goals and benchmarks of quality. Through its quality enhancement and sustenance strategy, the IQAC intends to develop the institution as a holistic academic centre of excellence. The IQAC strives hard to make the future road map for institutional progress and to introduce best practices to enrich the learning environment for the stakeholders.
Objectives
- To promote a system ensuring progress in academic and administrative excellence
- To develop measures towards quality enhancement in all the activities of the institution
- To promote institutional values amongst the stakeholders.
- To facilitate a learner-centric environment
- Arrangement for feedback-responses from stakeholders on quality-related aspects.
- Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
- Strategy for Professional Development of Staff
- Documentation of the various programmes/activities of the College, leading to quality improvement.
- Acting as a steward in planning and implementing the institutional best practices.
- Preparing the action plan to comply with the suggestions and recommendations given by peer experts.
